June favourites

Hello everyone, the worst blogger is here, I finally graduated and I have my bachelor's degree, and I have a lot of time, ideas and fresh mind. Also, as a bonus, I have a camera, so hopefully will be able to do some decent photos.
As a start of month post, or almost middle of the month I’m going to write about my June favourites.
Beauty wise:
Mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational, one of the best mascaras I've tried. I really loved Le Volume de Chanel and I'm trying to find something equally great from drugstore. Next month I will be trying Bourjois mascara. But for now, I really love this Maybelline mascara.
Blush – Guerlain meteorites perles de blush, they are from 2015, I love meteorites in general, but these were special, because they were not a powder as usual, but a blush, usually I wouldn't use them because it's kind of a fuss to use them, but now I have lots of free time, so I do take my time doing my makeup.
Dermacol highlighter
Highlighter – dermacol set #3, just amazing, especially for the price.
Eyeliner – Bourjois, your usual liquid liner, very black, stays on the eyes for a long time, doesn't smudge, great price, have to use it and see how fast it will dry it out.
Lip pencil – Golden Rose pencils, they are really cheap and also really good.
Nail varnish – Inglot #869 very bright summer colour
Dermacol highlighter swatches
Eye shadows – Givenchy 2013 Hôtel privé collection eyeshadow palette, an old palette, was kind of expensive at the time, but eyeshadows were worth it. Great pigment, they blend perfectly, not the brightest colours, but very easy to use, everyday use palette.
Books:
Anna Gavalda – Je l’aimais started reading it in French, because I'm trying to improve my French, very interesting book. I love Anna Gavalda's work, she's one of not so many modern authors whom I really love to read.
The Theater Experience by Edwin Wilson, I've had this book for years, and sometimes I like to read it, not in some particular order, but just hear and there, about topics that really interest me. I advise this book to anyone who loves theater or interested in it.
TV show – Hélène et les garçons, the reason I rewatch this very old tv show is the same that I read Anna Gavalda in French, it's because I'm trying to improve my knowledge of French. And I think this tv show is amazing, it's easy to understand, the language there is not very hard, and the show itself is kind of funny.
Event of the month – reunion with girls from ON3, my old workplace, we are friends, but all of us have very different lifestyle, and don't have a lot of free time at the same moment, so usually it's hard to schedule a meeting for all of us at the same time, but luckily this time it all worked out and we could meet all together.
Favourite blogger – Chriselle Lim. I just adore her instagram account.
Favourite youtuber – Sophie Shohet, she's been my favourite youtuber for a couple of months already, very lovely, very interesting youtuber.

So, what did you like? What were and are your favourites?
Share with me.

In bblogger bbloggers beauty beautyguru even skin tone fashion guerlain Life in style lifestyle make up makeup meteorites

Guerlain météorites

Hello my lovelies,
Today I'm finally writing a review for last Guerlain météorites from Christmas collection.
First thing first is this collection has gorgeous packaging. Météorites look like this beautiful snow globe. And inside there are little star météorites. What a lovely touch for Christmas. Just from the look of them you get the idea of Christmas and snow and snowflakes, which I personally love.
And the product itself in my opinion is great, it really is. Their colour is perfect, though only for light skin, but if you are darker, you can use them as a hilighter. I use them as a powder for whole face. Météorites in general became softer, so you can use any soft brush with them. They apply easily, look amazing on skin. Have some shimmer, but applied properly, doesn't look too much, looks just perfect. If you wanted to try Météorites, then that's the time. Sadly, they are sold out pretty much everywhere. But if you can find them, definitely buy.
If you tried them, please share you opinion and thoughts. Here I include photo of my météorites and photo of Christmas Guerlain stand.

Don't hesitate to comment and enjoy.
Xoxo,
Sveta

How to shop on a budget

Hello my lovelies,

I’ve been busy and had no chance to write, so  I really missed you guys)
So, today’s topic is “Shopping on a budget”
Very important topic to all fashionistas) And I wanted to give you some tips that I’ve tried)

So,

  • • Before you go shopping go through your closet and see what essentials your wardrobe is missing, maybe you still don’t’ have LBD)
  • • Then, sit down and write down all the things you have to buy, but write only those things that you actually need) Then you need to write down how much money you can spend on each item of your list
  • • So, the hardest thing is when you are actually shopping) So, when you go to shop and want to buy something there you need to check your list and see if you need this thing and can you afford it or not
  • • Also, you don’t have to buy things in the first shop, you can walk to others and see if you can find something better
  • • Finally if you managed to buy all the things you need and you still have some money left, and you want to buy something else ask yourself “Do I love it or just like it?” And if the answer is “just like” don’t buy it! You don’t need it!

BTW that question is great ask yourself “Do I love it or just like it?” every time you’re buying something.

  • • Also, I know tastes differ, but in my opinion it’s better to shop alone. This way you don’t get distracted by others. And you won’t buy things that you don’t need.
By the by, you can get great deals in outlets.

Well, do you have some shopping secrets? Please, do share…

xoxo

In afwbaku Azerbaijan Fashion Week bbloggers blogger Elie Saab Fairmont fashion fashion week fbloggers Georges Mak Gunel Behbudova Libas Couture Life in style mac style Zuhair Murad

Azerbaijan Fashion Week

Hello everyone,
Last week was quite exciting because there was a great event "Azerbaijan Fashion Week". I, obviously, was there to see our designers and the ones who came from other countries.
First designer that I want to talk about is Georges Mak, Lebanese designer from France. I absolutely fell in love with his works. It's just art. It reminds of Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab. Glamour and gorgeousness itself. Very feminine and sexy. If you haven't heard of him, then check him out.
Another guest designer that I want to talk about was Aynur Turisbek from Kazakhstan, very modern collection, all black colours, very interesting and bold collection. Also there were great designers like Alexandre Delima, Datuna from Georgia, Julia Aysina from Ukraine.
From Azerbaijani designers I want to point out Gunel Behbudova and Libas couture. Being honest, I didn't expect such great works.
Later, I'll post an interview with Georges Mak that I took. Being a fashion junkie it was great to have a compliment about my style from a person making such beautiful pieces as he does.
I want to thank everyone who made it happen. L'officiel Azerbaijan, Fairmont hotel, Ambassade de la Beauté, Mac, #FridayAz for photos and many other individuals.
I include photos of me with Georges Mac, me at backstage, wedding dress by Gunel Behbudova, wedding dress by Libas Couture worn by special guest amazing Lyubov Gutorova, and a dress by Georges Mak. I have also posted videos from a couple of catwalks on my instagram.

Enjoy!

In bbloggers beautyguru blogger closet closet clean out fashion fbloggers how to Life in style lifestyle organize photographs style wardrobe

How to clean out your closet

Hello everyone!

Summer is coming, and most of us will be buying new clothes, updating our wardrobes. Most of us have a problem of nothing to wear and I think it's time for a closet clean out, it will help with "nothing to wear" problem and will make some space for new clothes. I'm doing it twice a year: in autumn and spring. So now it's time for one.
Step 1. Take everything out
So, first thing first is takig everything out of your wardrobe, every single thing. Put away all your stuff that you won't be wearing during spring and summer, warm coats, winter shoes, warm sweaters and winter accessories such as scarves, gloves and hats. Also before putting them out make sure that everything is clean.
Step 2. Sort everything out and put back on hangers
You can sort clothes in: donate, throw out, and keep piles.
Before putting clothes on hangers ask yourself a couple of questions:
Does it fit? - If not, but you really love this item, can you tailor it, if not donate.
Have you worn this item in the past year? - If not, donate or throw out.
Is it damaged? - If yes, throw out, or if it can be fixed does it worth doing it or is it easier to buy a new thing.
Does it represent my style and do I want to wear it? If not, donate it.
So when you sorted everything before putting clothes on hangers look on the hangers, throw away cheap plastic ones, because they are actually bad for your clothes. Invest in some good ones and they will help your clothes live longer and will look more neat in your closet.
Step 3. Go shopping and have fun!

Tips:

  • Organise your closet the way you like, it may be colour wise or any other useful to you way.
  • After cleaning out, look at your clothes and write down everything that you need in your wardrobe, those clothing basics that you don't have and use this list during your future shopping session.
  • Use shelf dividers and organisers.
  • Do not forget to go through your shoes and accessories

Enjoy!
